Fire Station 37

Fire Station 37 replaces the outdated existing with a modern, efficient and sleek design to meld with the surrounding community. There are three operating apparatus bays, with an adjacent command center. The aesthetic arched roofs of the facility transition the hardened landscape, while the interior exposed steel trusses robustly signal the direction of vehicular flow.

Additional Information

Structural Systems: The building super-structure was designed utilizing steel joist and beam framing, with both braced and moment frames for lateral stability. The foundation is slab-on-grade construction, and the primary columns loads are transferred to drilled and under-reamed piers.
